This post is to remind myself and that FRENCH ambient / downtempo scene is getting stronger and won't stop
Example The 2015 is promising !
- many new albums and EPs are being released this year by french producers (list below).
- We had our 8th edition of 'ambient' only festival this summer - Ambiosonic Festival!
- We had our 'downtempo on mainstage' festival this summer - Festival Harmonic !
- Ujjaya is organising regular "ambient" events in Paris
- Some parties/festivals are starting to set up proper chillout. (not many, but it happens : ADN, EDC, Blue Moon, Oreades, Hadra and more)
- psy-downtempo events in Paris (Live Love Create) will happen again for sure.
- Suduaya and Aes Dana are playing on the biggest stages of psytrance festival
- Ultimae label is keep delivering top quality music.
But let's go back to releases , here are few examples starting with new artists :
