Trance Gate : http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3831.html

Image

TranceGate is best described as a tremolo on steroids. The collection of vertical bars at the top of the screenshot represent volume levels. The signal can be described as traveling from the far left of the bars to the far right of the bars, and as it hits each bar, the volume level of that bar is applied to it. If the bar is all the way at the top, the volume level is full, likewise all the way down it is off. The speed of the effect is controllable via the host tempo and the note duration control. There is also an adjustable sweeping filter, featuring 5 different wave form shapes and 6 different types of filters. Also included is a proprietary AcmeBarGig mono/stereo delay from DIG.

Features:

   * Powerful tremolo effect, consisting of individually adjustable bars for setting the volume levels of each stage of the tremolo.
   * Depth knob allows for a variety of uses, from subtle to over the top excess.
   * Sweeping filter, with 5 wave forms and 6 filter types.
   * Mono/Stereo delay.
   * Each section individually bypassable.

TAL-Filter II : http://www.kvraudio.com/db/tal_filter_ii_by_togu_audio_line

Image

TAL-Filter-2 is a host-synced filter module with different filter types, panorama and volume modulation possibilities.

The device includes all 4x oversampled TAL-NoiseMaker filters: LP 24 dB, LP 18dB, LP 12dB, LP 6dB, HP 12 dB, BP 12dB, N 12 dB. It's possible to saturate / distort the input signal by raising the input volume with the input control (only if you use a filter as modulation type). It's also possible to modulate the panorama or volume of an incoming signal. This can be used for tremolo or trance gate effects. Panorama modulation maybe is useful to pan your percussion, hats or sound effects in the stereo room for more interesting rhythms and sounds.

Features:

   * Create host / beat synced modulations.
   * Easy to use graphical editor (double click deletes points, a click adds one).
   * 4x oversampled TAL-NoiseMaker filters.
   * Different filter types: LP 24 dB, LP 18dB, LP 12dB, LP 6dB, HP 12 dB, BP 12dB, N 12 dB.
   * It's possible to saturate / distort the input signal by raising the input volume (only for filters).
   * Panorama modulation (-3dB).
   * Volume modulation.
   * Different modulation tempo (x1, x2, .. x32).
   * Depth control as a simple way to control the modulation intensity.

Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst : http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_FreqAnalyst/

Image

Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst is a free spectrum analyzer plug-in that lets you monitor the spectral content of your audio signal in real time. It has been designed to provide extreme smoothness and high resolution for both time and frequency: unlike most spectrum analyzers, Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst is able to display continuous variations even with a very high frequency resolution, thanks to its unique smooth interpolation algorithms.

Most aspects of the audio to frequency display conversion can be managed, which lets you total control over the monitoring. A special thresholding system has been developed to help you see the important parts of the spectrum easily. In case you need extra precision in a particular frequency range, you can zoom the display and check the part of the graph you are interested in.

As shown in the screenshots, you can use the opacity management feature to make the plug-in window transparent and see what is behind: forget about your multiple display setup, you do not need it anymore! You can now check the spectrum of your mix and see your audio tracks behind. This feature is also particularly useful when you want to compare the spectrum of two tracks: just stack your two FreqAnalyst windows and see the difference!
WallsOfSound : http://www.kvraudio.com/db/wallsofsound_by_fractone

Image

The idea with the WallsOfSound plug-in is to emulate, in a way most general as possible, the reverberant effects of sound traveling from sources to receivers in a three-dimensional space - bounded, fully or partially, by walls of specified sonic reflectivity coefficients. Rather than control reverb and echo with the conventional knob or slider-driven, single-dimensional delay parameters and the like, reverberant effects would be created by actually creating a virtual room and laying out sources and receivers in the three dimensions - a more intuitive approach.

WallsOfSound is compatible with these 3D room/floor planning/editing packages: Sweet Home 3D, Google Sketchup 8.
LePou Plugins releases LeCto VST for Mac : http://www.kvraudio.com/news/15544

Image

LeCto is a free guitar amp simulator inspired by an American modern high gain head. This simulator has 2 channels with 3 modes on each channel. It can go from crunch (raw mode) to modern high gain (modern mode).

Features:

   * Oversampling: determines the signal oversampling; up to 8x.
   * Mono/stereo: determines the signal routing.
   * Input: controls the magnitude of the input signal.
   * Drive: controls the amount of gain.
   * Low: controls the low frequency.
   * Mid: controls the mid frequency.
   * High: controls the high frequency.
   * Presence: presence control.
   * Resonance*: controls the amount of resonance resulting from the interaction with the speaker cabinet.

* Only active on modern mode

LeCto is only an amp simulator, so you need to use a cabinet simulator.
Dominion : http://www.kvraudio.com/get/878.html

Image

If you were searching for a tool to shape the envelope of a signal, giving you total control of the signal's attack & sustain phase, dominion is certainly something for you!

Features:

   * Envelope section. Adjust attack & sustain independently, regardless of input level. Plus, you have control over the envelopes' time constants. Imagine pulling a drummer up front or pushing him to the background by dragging just a single slider! Feel like moving the walls around him? Again, a single push enhances the room information or can make the sound really dry.
   * Saturation stage. Following digitalfishphones tradition, the plugin can help to reduce harshness often associated with digital recordings, giving back some warmth and life to your source by modeling classic analog equipment. The tonal character stays adjustable within a broad range.
   * High frequency details section. Similar to classic exciter circuits, this section allows you to brighten up a signal, giving transparency and depth by generating additional harmonics.
   * Non-clipping output stage. Like the endorphin compressor, a brickwall waveshaper circuit ensures that the output won't exceed -0.1dBFS, while remaining sonically clean.

 PC-2 Psychoacoustic Compressor : http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2760.html

Image

Conventional compressors are based on peak or RMS-level estimation to compute their time-variant gain or attenuation. This property of most compressors often causes undesirable inter-modulation distortion and pumping/breathing artefacts.

PC-2 Psychoacoustic Compressor features a 'psycho-acoustic relevance' mode. Instead of using a peak or RMS-level estimation, this mode employs a perceptual loudness model to compute the loudness of the input signal. This perceptual loudness model is combined with advanced attack and release stages that model peripheral adaptation of the human auditory nerve. The result is a very transparent compression characteristic, even with very short attack and release times.

Alternatively, the simple, classic compression behavior can be engaged too by simply switching off the complex loudness model.
