The Indian Spirit is not bound to the palm-lined beaches of Goa, though it undoubtedly originates from this place. Rather, it is a magic moment that evolves when the Trance tribe gathers, when multicoloured freaks arrive from all around the world, when they dance together, when they go out of their minds and become one. Indian Spirit festival provides an excellent setting for this experience, which again might be the reason why it became the grand finale of the famous North-East German open air season.

Indian Spirit is always good for a pleasant surprise and some next-level psychedelic entertainment. As the first Psytrance festival in Germany, it introduced Funktion One sound systems on all dance floors in 2011. Based on this first experience, the systems are crucially extended in 2012- for instance by the earthquake-simulating InfraHorn. A special 3D decoration concept provides a mind-bending impression of depth. Looking at the promoters gives some illuminating insights into the innovative character of Indian Spirit: Besides original organizer DJ Syncron, there are the Symphonix brothers, formerly responsible for Tshitraka festival, and Mr. Vaishiyas of SpinTwist Records.

Seen in front of this background, it is no surprise that the music programme of Indian Spirit is cutting edge just like its infrastructure. Some highlights this year: Avalon, Protonica, Tristan, Sonic Species, Ace Ventura, Fabio & Moon, Waio and Neelix. Not to forget about an extra Dark Psy floor. Free camping and drinking water, easy arrival via public transport from Berlin or Hamburg.

Indian Spirit - der Geist Indiens. Gemeint ist der Geist, der in den Köpfen jener Leute herrschte, die an den palmengesäumten Stränden von Goa eine spaßorientierte Parallelgesellschaft gründeten. Es geht also eher um ein Bewusstsein als um einen bestimmten Ort, ein Bewusstsein das immer dann entsteht, wenn ein Stammestreffen stattfindet, wenn bunte Freaks aus allen Ecken der Welt anreisen, um gemeinsam zu tanzen, Grenzen zu überschreiten und eins zu werden. Die Indian Spirit bietet wiederum die perfekten Vorraussetzung für genau diese Atmosphäre!

So konnte das Festival in den letzten Jahren immer wieder mit spektakulären Neuerungen und Überraschungen begeistern. Als erstes Psytrance Open Air in Deutschland führte es 2011 Funktion One Anlagen auf allen Tanzflächen ein. Ausgehend von dieser ersten Erfahrung wird das System 2012 um entscheidende Komponenten erweitert, wie beispielsweise das Erdbeben-simulierende InfraHorn. Passend zu deren sattem, dreidimensionalen Klang wurde auch das Dekorationskonzept mit speziellen 3D-Effekten aufgewertet. Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen erklärt das hohe Innovationspotential der Indian Spirit: Neben dem ursprünglichen Veranstalter DJ Syncron gehören zum Team auch die Symphonix-Brüder, früher fürs Tshitraka Festival verantwortlich, sowie Vaishiyas, der Macher von SpinTwist Records.

Dementsprechend spektakulär gestaltet sich das Musikprogramm. Zu den Höhepunken in diesem Jahr zählen Auftritte von Avalon, Protonica, Tristan, Sonic Species, Ace Ventura, Fabio & Moon, Waio und Neelix. Nicht zu vergessen der eigene Dark Floor! Dank nahe gelegenem Bahnhof ist die Indian Spirit aus Richtung Berlin und Hamburg bestens mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.

reflex: J'y était il y'a 3 ans et le son était tellement puissant qu'un périmètre naturel de 15 mètre se formait autour de chaque colonne !!!
