Hello Fullmooners !

For now we still work to get the camping permission for the Wittstock Airbase and in case that we get problems, we still have 2 alternative locations. So we will definitely run the festival in 2010, but as it seems we will run the FMF only every second year, cause then we have way more time to rest and to recharge, to develop new ideas and concepts and also to find new good artists....
We will open the camping area at 21st of July and close at 28th - The music will run from 22nd of July 00 AM until 26th july 12 PM. For For all  international guests: as in the previous years the festival will take place near Berlin, so the main city to fly in is BERLIN !

At the moment we are preparing the online ticket presale and as soon as its finished we will send a special newsletter with all details and information. Also we are in the middle of  live acts booking and we hope to present the first results at the end of december right before New Year...

Also we have news regarding our dark stage: For the upcoming edition we will work with the well known danish label Parvati Records which will celebrate his 10th birthday next year and which will prepare with us the Fullmoon-Festival Dark stage 2010. So we will have lots of dark and underground music which will blow your mind away...

Be prepared for another groundbreaking line up with only the best trance music available. Now after 1,5 years we are excited again and can´t wait to move to the countryside.

At this point we wanna inform all the travellers, that the Antaris Project will happen right 1 week before Fullmoon-Festival and the VuuV Experience 1 week after the FMF. So it definitely make sense to come over and stay some days in germany...A BIG Thanxx to Antaris for moving the date !

Pour le moment nous travaillons toujours pour obtenir la permission de camper sur la Base aérienne Wittstock et en cas de problème, nous avons toujours 2 emplacements alternatifs.
Donc nous ferons très certainement le festival en 2010, mais par contre nous referons le FMF seulement une année sur deux, la cause principale est d'avoir plus de temps pour se recharger, développer de nouvelles idées et des concepts et aussi trouver de nouveaux bons artistes....

Nous ouvrirons le camping du 21 juillet au 28 juillet - la musique commencera du 22 juillet 00h am jusqu'au 26 juillet 12h00 pm. Pour tous les invités internationaux : comme les années précédentes le festival aura lieu près de Berlin, donc la ville principale pour arriver par avion est BERLIN!

À l'heure actuelle nous préparons la billeterie en prévente, et dès que possible nous enverrons une lettre d'information spéciale avec tous les détails et les informations. Nous sommes au milieu du booking des artistes et nous espérons présenter un lineup à la fin de décembre juste avant le Nouvel An...  

Nous avons aussi des nouvelles quant à notre scène dark : Pour l'édition prochaine nous travaillerons avec le label danois bien connu Parvati Records qui célébrera son 10ème anniversaire, et qui préparera avec nous la scène Dark du Fullmoon-festival 2010. Donc nous aurons beaucoup de musiques Dark et Underground qui démoliront votre esprit...

Soyez préparé pour un nouveau lineup révolutionnaire avec seulement la meilleure musique de trance actuelle. Maintenant après 1,5 ans d'absence nous sommes enthousiasmés à nouveau et ne pouvons plus attendre d'y être.
Nous voulons informer tous les festivaliers, que le l'Antaris Festival se déroule 1 semaine avant le Fullmoon-festival, et le VuuV Festival 1 semaine après le FMF. Donc cela donne définitivement du sens à venir passer quelques jours en Allemagne...

just in time for the first full moon of the year we would like to give you an update about the latest news around our Fullmoon-Festival, which this year will happen from 22 – 27. July 2010.

The compulsory break last year was very inspiring as we had the time for breathtaking and considering our traditional values as well as developing new ideas. There will be lots of proven and lots of new exciting things to discover on the FMF 2010.

From now on the Fullmoon Festival will happen every second year, double intensity ;D, because we realized, that we really need the time to make it that great party that we want to realize. I.e. after this years edition we will be back in 2012!

One of the lovely improovements is our coopration with different organizer teams, which is very inspiring and fruitful. Combining all our energies with yours, we will revitalise the spirit of community beneath july’s full moon. A gorgeous Magic Circle, with it’s Center Stage, surrounded by bombastic sound invites you 2010 again to party on and dance. Enjoy 5 days of a carefully selected international booking of psychedelic FullON and Progressive Sound under summer sun and moonlight.

Parvati Records, the wellknown danish cult label celebrates this year it’s 10th anniversary. Congratulations! Dear Fullmoon Community!  (01/03/10)

The Moon is full again, so the time has come to give you some news about the Fullmoon Festival!
Additionally we will provide you in the following months some worth knowing facts, myths, cults and rituals around our eponym, the moon.

At first some actual development:

Chriss and Ralf are in India, meeting all the freaks & family, spreading the 2nd run of Fullmoon Festival flyer and pushing the booking further. They will return next week with a bag full of new arrangements, but it will stay suspenseful, until the line up it’s not completed.

We are absolutely glad to have received all permissions from the german authorities that are needed for a successful setting of the FullMoon! These permission, which last year were not given in the right time frame, were the reason, why the festival couldn’t take place in 2009. You can imagine that our aktivities were down for a day because of us whirling and dancing though the office and beeing exited about this funny piece of paper.

Requests of shops and art spaces from all over the world are already coming in. In April we will start contacting everybody, as we would like to have a harmonious concept with selected, beatifully decorated shops and an international width of participants. We are looking forward to creating a colorful and illuminated space with all activists, which complements our set up wonderfully and invites you to linger about, meet and pause.

And now some facts and myths around the full moon..
Facts:
Did you know, that the moon orbit is not a circle but in an elipse? Short before the moon is full today, the moon will reach the shortest distance to earth, which is around 356.000 km. The maximum distance is 406.740 km. So it might seem bigger than on other days.
There is one more phenomenon that makes the moon seem bigger, but is not related to the real distance or eliptic orbit. It’s called the moon illusion and can be seen on the horizon while the moon is rising. Later in the same night it seems to be further back again. But all this is just an illusion, which is still beeing examined. One theory is, that it seems bigger due to the depth information, that is between the visitor and the moon:

Myths:
The full moon stands in many cultures for accomplished growth, maturity and implementation. Whatever forces were slumbering within people, are now breaking out. This are not only good feelings. Everything suppressed or not lived can be freed in this time. Our deepest emotions may come on the surface. That’s why there is a lot of aggressive but also high sexual potential around these days.
This time has also a big quality for rituals, that are connected with inner visualisations and deep feelings like telling fortune and to put one's cards on the table. Talented people often have visions or clairvoyant dreams around the full moon.
In different cultures there always existed myths and tips, what one should know and do: They say:
...that people are looking for conflicts but also may be extremly joyous..
…that men should salute and women should curtsy three times to the moon in order to keep away desasters and accidents until the next full moon…
…that who doesn’t toast at least once to the full moon is not worth having luck (greek toast)…
…that who drinks at full moon does it excessively…
…that the full moon has influence on our sleep (due to a survey 39% of the people believe it)…
…that clear water, beeing illuminated by the full moon in a glas over night, gives you enourmous beauty while washing your face with it ne next morning (from Croatia)..
…that curative herbs, cut shortly before the full moon, reveal their power in the edges..
…that virgins (!) can enlarge their breasts through the full moon shining on them at midnight..
…that you can clean and upload your stones and crystals energetically in the full moon..
…that you shouldn’t take important decisions while the moon is full…
…that it is recommended to lay your wallet opened in the moonlight to collect the full energy in order to attract money..
…that the body absorbs everything better at full moon, i.e. vitamins, creams but also toxics…
