Le grand chantre de la musique ambient est parti...

J'aie tant vibré sur ses oeuvres et ses nombreuses collaborations !
En souvenir, un mix que j'ai réalisé en 2001 autour de ses morceaux que je préférais...

son décès m'a rendu triste , mais je suis content de voir un hommage ici .
en plus bien sûr de tous ses morceaux ambiant , il faut pas oublier    aussi sa période plus techno au début des 90's , notamment les morceaux qu'il avait produits avec mixmaster morris sous le nom de Dreamfish , le fameux Hymn par exemple , qui  incarnait l'époque où la techno représentait un avenir radieux : ça a 20 ans maintenant

Details about the Namlook tribute.

• 500 4-CD sets consisting of 2 CDs with tracks from FAX alumni/collaborators (Richie Hawtin, Geir Jenssen, Bill Laswell...see complete list below) plus 2 CDs of tracks from fans
• submissions accepted until May 31
• fans will vote to decide which fan tracks will be included
• artwork by Andre Ruello, who has done the art for dozens of FAX releases
• funded via PledgeMusic, a crowd-funding platform like Kickstarter (I say it this way because most people I run across have heard of Kickstarted, but not PledgeMusic)
• profits (i.e., income after expenses such as mastering, pressing, etc.) will go to Namlook's family
• depending on demand, we may also press 250 6-LP boxed sets on colored 180 gram vinyl, containing the alumni/collaborator tracks
