NoiseAnomalie (aka Dylan Reeves) has finally graced the trance scene
with his freshman album effort, Deep in the Bushes.
Being a culmination of his work over the past two years, it provides a wide scope of trance
ranging from funky through to downright mindbending,
“guaranteed to smoke a dancefloor or two” (BPM, Spring Edition, 2006).
Mastered by The Artifakt (aka Matthew de Nobrega) of Timecode Records,
the tracks have a certain polish
that South Africans have come to expect from their Cape Town scene
and “is one of the more interesting
and musical offerings of late” (BPM, Spring Edition 2006). While the album has been mastered
with the intent of optimising it for large rigs, it plays just as well on home and car audio systems.
