URBAN LEGENDS

compiled by Slater & Schwa

“Urban Legends” compilation is the first release coming from new Czech progressive psytrance label Tribal
Vision records. Featuring ten previously unreleased jewels from both top trance artists of these days as well as
highly talented newcomers, it has an ambition to be counted among the strongest progressive releases of the year
2004. The list of the acts that made their tracks for this record includes names such as
• Vibrasphere, one of the most popular progressive artists of all times, with his crystal clear, dub influenced sound,
• Emok, half of well-known project “Phony Orphants” and label manager of Iboga records in his new solo project,
• Human Blue, Swedish master of melodic, emotional trance,
• BLT & Elysium, collaboration between one of the biggest Israeli psytrance legends and Danish old school artist,
• POTS, also known as Prisoners of the Sun, with their dark and trancy mixture of proggy beats and fast basslines,
• Echotek, representant of new generation of Israeli trance artists, also known for his successful side projects
Reflex and Neologic,
• Meller, that are just rocking the dancefloors with their debut album “Solar Drums”,
• Parrket, presenting here the deep progressive side of his innovative music,
• Rai, with his smooth, emotional way of musical expression.

REVIEWS AND FEEDBACK:
Here comes a positive surprise… The new Czech progressive trance label called Tribal Vision Records is out with their first compilation. It is compiled by Slater & Schwa from the Czech Republic. On this compilation you will find some of the cream in progressive trance. With it you get a fat booklet where you can see pictures and read about the artists. It’s really rare to find such booklets in trance releases, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. I have a feeling this could be the best progressive release of the year. Not just this, but it could be one of the best CD’s I’ve heard in 2004. Debut release from new Czech label Tribal Vision, and compiled by DJ Slater, this album is a sheer dream. And by my reckoning, all but one of the tracks on here are belters.
